QR Code Generator
Pick a content type, generate a permanent QR code in your browser, then download it as SVG or PNG.
This tool computes the QR code matrix for content types such as a website address, plain text, Wi-Fi details, a business card, email, phone number, SMS, WhatsApp message and location, entirely in your browser. Choose a content type, fill in its fields, and the code appears instantly in the preview; foreground and background colour, quiet zone and size can each be adjusted separately. The result can be copied as SVG or downloaded as an SVG or PNG file.
As the error correction level (L, M, Q, H) rises the code tolerates more dirt or small damage, but the matrix gets denser for the same content, so a higher level makes sense when the code will be printed small or exposed to wear. A quiet zone of at least 4 modules is recommended, a narrower margin makes the code harder for some scanners to recognise. Dark modules need to sit on a light background, the tool warns if the chosen contrast is too low.
The QR code generated here is permanent and never expires, the content is written directly into the matrix, so this tool does not produce a shortened or click-tracking link and never records scans. Once a code is created, the only way to change its content is to generate a new one and replace it wherever the old code was printed. Fields such as Wi-Fi or a business card can still be misread by some scanners if the value contains unusual characters, scanning the generated code with a real device is the safest check.
FAQ
Does this QR code expire?
No, the code is static and permanent, the destination content is written directly into the matrix, so it never expires, can't be redirected elsewhere later, and scans aren't tracked, this tool doesn't produce a shortened or tracked link.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Higher levels tolerate more dirt or small damage but make the matrix denser for the same content, choose H for uses exposed to wear or printed small, such as on packaging, and M is a reasonable default otherwise.
Can I change the code's content after creating it?
No, the content is embedded in the matrix itself, changing the destination means generating a new code and replacing it wherever the old one was printed.
Is what I type sent anywhere?
No, the matrix is built entirely in your browser, the text, address or Wi-Fi password you enter is never sent to a server.
