Tool

This tool cuts a single image into equal pieces. In side-by-side mode it makes 2 to 10 slices that flow together as one panorama when swiped in a carousel post. In grid mode it makes cells of 3 columns and 1 to 5 rows, for a run of posts that looks like one large picture on a profile grid. You choose a tile or cell ratio of 1:1, 4:5 or 3:4.

You position the image by dragging and zooming it against the overall target ratio. Cut lines show in the preview, so you can see before exporting whether a face or a line of text would be split in two. In side-by-side mode each tile is 1080 pixels wide. The output arrives as sequentially named files, which you download one by one or as a ZIP. You also pick the output format and quality.

In grid mode the tiles should be posted from last to first so the picture lines up on the profile; the file names show that order. Platforms can change their sizes and cropping behaviour, so check the platform's own help page before you publish. If the source image has too few pixels for the target size, the tool warns you, because a small image goes soft when enlarged. The tool only splits; it does not repair or redraw the image.

FAQ

Is my image uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is processed only in your browser; it is not sent or stored anywhere. When you close the page, nothing remains.

In what order should I post the grid tiles?

From last to first. New posts appear at the top of a profile, so you post the final tile first. The file names carry numbers that show the right order.

Why do my tiles look blurry?

If the source image has too few pixels for the target size, it is enlarged and loses sharpness. The tool warns you in that case; use a larger source file.

Are the tile sizes valid on every platform?

We cannot guarantee it. Platforms change their sizes, so confirm the current size on the platform's own help page before you publish.
