SEO & GEO

SEO & GEO: Be Visible in Search and AI Answers

A business that doesn’t show up in search results might as well not exist for the person doing that search. SEO is the whole body of work that gets your site appearing in Google for the right queries, to the right person, consistently: technical foundations, content, link structure and local signals all play a part. A new layer has been added recently: many people now put their question straight to ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI overview. Being visible in that setting takes a separate discipline; we call it GEO.

What we do

01

Technical SEO

We fix site speed, crawl budget, indexing errors and structured data, so the search engine reads and classifies your site correctly.

02

Content and Keywords

We map keywords against real search intent and set out which question each page needs to answer. We write the content brief; the writing itself runs with you or with our team.

03

Local SEO

We set up your Google Business Profile with the right category and keep track of map ranking and review management. We put the signals in place you need to show up in ‘near me’ searches.

04

Ecommerce SEO

We set up category and product pages, filter structure and product schema to suit the search engine. We keep on top of ecommerce-specific issues like out-of-stock products and duplicate content.

05

International SEO

On multilingual or multi-country sites, we set up hreflang, language-based slugs and content separation correctly, so the right page in the right language reaches the right user in every market.

06

GEO — AI Visibility

With an llms.txt setup, a clear brand footprint and content structured to be quotable, we increase the chance of your site being cited in AI search results.

Overview

We start with measurement. We work out exactly where your site stands today: which pages are indexed, where you rank for which terms, and what’s slowing the search engine down technically. That becomes a prioritised plan: the fixes with the biggest impact first, then content and link work. We measure whether each step actually changes the result; we work from data, not guesswork.

GEO doesn’t replace SEO; it sits on top of it. When AI tools generate an answer, they lean on sources that are clearly structured and verifiable, and most of those already have solid SEO. To get your site cited in both classic search and AI overviews, we invest in the same foundation: correct schema markup, a clear brand footprint and content structured to be quotable.

Process

How we work

01

Measurement and Audit

We scan your site technically, on content and locally; we pull out current rankings, indexing status and where your competitors stand.

02

Map and Priority

We turn the findings into a plan: which fix comes first, which content gets written first, where resource goes.

03

Implementation

We put the technical fixes, content brief and schema/GEO setup into practice, with your team or on your behalf.

04

Measure and Improve

We review every month against Search Console and GA4 data, scale what works and change what doesn’t.

  • A more visible local presence in ‘near me’ searches and on the map
  • A well-structured site with a stronger chance of being cited as a source in AI search tools
Working model

Working Model

We set price based on the size of your site, its current state and the scope you’re after; we don’t have a fixed price list. We work in two models. For work that needs ongoing ranking tracking, content production and technical improvement, we stay with you on a monthly retainer. For a one-off snapshot, or if you just want to understand where you stand first, we offer a project-based audit: we scan your site and deliver findings and recommendations in a report; you or our team then carry out the implementation. Scope is confirmed on a discovery call.

FAQ

Questions on your mind

How long does SEO take to show results?

Technical fixes can show an effect within a few weeks, but meaningful ranking and traffic growth usually settles in over three to six months; that varies with your starting point and how competitive your market is. SEO worked on consistently is an investment whose effect grows over time.

What is GEO, and how is it different from SEO?

GEO is work aimed at getting your site cited as a source in tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI overviews. It doesn’t replace SEO; it sits on top of it. A site that’s clearly structured, verifiable and backed by schema gains an advantage in both classic search and AI answers.

Do you guarantee rankings?

No. Google’s algorithm isn’t within our control, and nobody can guarantee a specific rank for a specific term; if someone tells you otherwise, treat that claim with caution. What we do is get the work right, measure progress regularly and report the real picture back to you.

Do you work monthly or project by project?

We offer both. For work that needs continuous improvement and content production, we run on a monthly retainer; for understanding where you stand today, or a one-off fix, we do a project-based audit. We work out which fits you in the discovery call.

What do you do with our existing site?

We start by scanning your site: technical errors, indexing status, current rankings and content gaps. We turn those findings into a prioritised plan and start with the fixes that will have the biggest impact. We don’t start from zero; we build on what you already have.

We have a multilingual site — how do you approach it?

We set up hreflang, language-based slugs and content separation correctly, and make sure each language’s pages show up for the right market and the right search engine. Localisation isn’t just translation; we do keyword research for each market separately.

How does reporting work?

Every month we send a plain-language report based on Search Console and GA4 data: ranking change, traffic, conversion and the work we did that month. Rather than a wall of numbers, it’s a summary of what changed and what’s next.
